The NBA a quarter way: The East By Marcus Barkley Hello, old friends, it’s been quite a long while. If you didn’t know, which you likely didn’t, I now write for the Warren Tribune (you can check my stuff out at Tribtoday.com). Because of this and another day job I have, I obviously have little to absolutely no time for much of anything since I work around 60 hours per week most weeks. But that still doesn’t stop me from missing the S2D realms. So here I am, sitting in the Sports office at 12:30 after the Browns BEAT the Steelers, and I’m trying my hardest to put something up for all of you. Hopefully you enjoy this little trot into the NBA East thus far and I can find some more time to keep giving you my own little swerve on the world of professional sports. Or I win a million dollars and can quit my jobs and live in Florida and write things like this all the time, though I suppose that’s not exactly probable. Either way, enjoy and stay tuned for the Western version, hopefully coming to a S2D near you soon! EASTERN CONFERENCE

The 2009 NBA Draft In Repose: The West by Marcus Barkley Sadly, I was not able to ascertain enough information on the sport of Dwarf Tossing, so I will have to give my draft grades for the Western Conference (plus…I don’t want to go to hell-as an aside). If you were not able, or did not feel like reading my Eastern Conference grades, I suggest you do so to get the full effect of cynical and satirical rage. Fun times will be had by all. With all the pomp and circumstance out of the way, we can move onto the grades and you can move on to hating me for my harsh grades and opinions. Like I said- fun times will be had by all. Lebron vs Michael - The Early Stages by Jason Shubnell There are many arguments that Lebron James is the best player in the league..
That he is quickly becoming one of the best players ever..
And that he is already a better player and has accomplished more than Michael Jordan, at his age.

 The 2009 NBA Draft In Repose: The East by Marcus Barkley With all the picks dulled out and 60 lucky players now on NBA rosters (with about10 likely to see the NBA court next season…or ever in the case of some of the international talent), how does your favorite team, as well as the other 29 squads, stack up? Who knows…but this is what I think, so why not read on and see if you agree, disagree or care? That’s right, there’s no reason to turn back now; you’re already through my annoying little preamble, so it’s best to just continue.
